Layouts
Layouts Overview
Layouts enable organizations to digitally model and control their physical storage spaces. They provide a structured way to represent and manage the hierarchical organization of storage areas within a location. Layouts form the foundation for tracking where inventory items are stored and can be shared between organizations for enhanced visibility.
A layout represents any definable storage space within your location. This could be a shelf, bin, or any other storage space that matches your physical setup. Each layout can be uniquely identified and can contain metadata specific to your organization's needs.
Layouts support flexible hierarchical relationships. For example, you might structure a warehouse with layouts containing shelves, which in turn contain bins.
